When it comes to concerts and shows, the Superdome is center stage. Since 1975, the Superdome has played host to some of the most memorable moments in music, including the Rolling Stones in 1981, the largest indoor concert ever. Or the 1989 show featuring Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, and Sammy Davis, Jr., or The Essence Festival, with as many as five shows performing simultaneously on different stages within the Superdome.
